In order to serve you with professionalism and integrity, we have gathered together the most frequently asked questions about using the Gutter Clutter Buster® to clean rain gutters..

• Will the Gutter Clutter Buster work with my wet/dry vacuum?

  The Gutter Clutter Buster is compatible with ANY BRAND wet/dry vacuum. 

• The two important factors are that it MUST have a 2.5 inch hose, and it needs to have a horsepower rating above 5. Vacuums that are rated at 5 h.p. PEAK are not recommended to use with the Gutter Clutter Buster as that is the MAXIMUM the vacuum can achieve.

• Use 6.0 H.P. machines for one story homes and 6.5 peak H.P. machines for gutters up to 28 feet high
  

• For demo purposes, we use a Craftsman 6.5 peak H.P. (it was only $120) and it never fails to collect packed in debris, even with multiple extensions connected.

• Can i use it for my two story homes gutters?

  The Gutter Clutter Buster® KIT is the perfect amount of reach to clean gutters on most all two story homes.

• With only 3 pieces, you get a lightweight, very strong, simple to use gutter cleaning system that is easier to use and much more efficient than other gutter cleaning tools.

• At Almost 14 feet fully assembled, the Gutter Clutter Buster® KIT  gives the user 18-21 feet of working height (depending on how tall you are). 

• For second story homes that have an exposed basement or area of the home where the gutters are harder to reach from ground level than other spots, simply add one additional extension to your order.  You are now ready to complete the task SAFELY from ground level.

• Can i use the Gutter Clutter Buster to blow the debris out of my gutters?

  Yes, however we recommend using your wet/dry vacuum’s suction to collect the debris. 

• REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE PAPER FILTER AND REPLACE WITH THE FOAM FILTER PRIOR TO GUTTER CLEANING AS THIS GREATLY REDUCES YOUR VACUUM’S ABILITY TO SUCK THE DEBRIS OUT OF THE GUTTER

• 1. Is the Gutter Clutter Buster just plastic?
  2. The Gutter Clutter Buster Tool is constructed by hand using a special blend of virgin PVC materials and has an added ALUMINUM insert for STRENGTH.
  3. Designed to be LIGHTWEIGHT, it comes in under 3 pounds .
  4. Several have been run over by a car and did not break
     
     The Gutter Clutter Buster Tool and Extensions have connections engineered to fit together tightly.  They will also connect to ALL of your wet dry vacuums 2.5 inch accessories or tools for alternate uses.
  5. Will I have to deal with clogging issues? 
     

     Yes, Clogs can and do happen, especially if your gutters are overflowing with packed in debris but are dealt with easily using the following :

       Simply CUT THE POWER to your wet/dry vacuum for a second.

  6. Move the GCB tool from its position briefly , and if you see the debris fall restart your vacuum.
  7. This will clear most clogs, and you can resume the task. Some situations will require bringing the tool down to ground level and clearing it out by hand.The Gutter Clutter Buster Tool has notches designed into the mouth of the tool that helps limit this issue from occuring. The best way to avoid clogs is to use your Gutter Clutter Buster two to three times a year to keep those gutters relatively free of PACKED IN debris.

     My extensions are STUCK…how do i separate them?

     Gutter Clutter Buster Extensions are designed to fit snug and tight so that you have a stable platform when raising the tool up into your gutters.  We advise all customers to lightly lubricate with a spray lubricant (wd-40 works fine) or petroleum jelly before connecting the extensions so that disassembly will be easier.

       If your extensions are stuck, simply spray the connected pieces with a spray lubricant and let it sit for 30 minutes or more so it can soak in and travel downward.  Prop the pieces up to assist with this if possible.  Twist opposite directions as you pull the extensions apart. Sometimes a buddy is required. The extensions are designed to fit TIGHTLY so they do not come apart during use.How long will it take to receive my Gutter Clutter Buster?Most orders ship from our manufacturer in Winter Haven, Florida within two business days or less from the time of the order. Orders placed on the weekend ship on Tuesdays.  We will send you a UPS tracking number once your order ships.  United States deliveries come via UPS GROUND delivered in 60 inch tall boxes.
