• HOW TO USE

  PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY SPRAY THE CONNECTING ENDS WITH A LIGHT LUBRICANT SUCH AS WD-40 or use some other type of lubricating oil.

  
  

  You will find that Gutter Clutter Buster Extension pieces fit together TIGHTLY by design and will require you to WIGGLE and/or TWIST to get them apart after use.

  1. Remove the PAPER filter from your wet-dry vacuum and install the wet filter which is usually a FOAM type SLEEVE.
  2. This greatly improves the suction power available to you
  3. Start with an EMPTY vacuum canister
  4. Lay the GCB and any needed extensions on the ground and connect
  5. Attach the 2.5-inch hose from your vacuum to the Gutter Clutter Buster equipment.
  6. Wear a pair of safety goggles or other protection from possible falling debris
  7. Turn on your wet dry vacuum
  8. Raise the GCB up into your gutters.
  9. Raise and lower the tool as work (small movements) to capture debris at the top and work your way to the floor of the gutter if it is packed with debris.
  10. You will hear the debris as it comes down the tubes and changes in your vacuum motor sound will let you know it is time to move further down the gutters, or if your canister is ready to be emptied.
  11. To maintain MAXIMUM suction, empty the canister when it is ½ to 2/3 full
  12. Handle any clogs that occur at roof level by briefly cutting power to your vacuum then continue once the debris drops.
  13. Some clogs may require you to bring the tool to ground level for manual clearance.
  14. If it has been a while since your last gutter clean out, expect the probability that your initial gutter cleanout can take as much as twice the time than future maintenance gutter cleanings.
  15. Use your Gutter Clutter Buster two to three times per year depending on your personal situation to keep your gutters flowing freely and directing water away from your home's foundation.
  16. The GUTTER CLUTTER BUSTER® is designed for use with wet dry vacuums rated at 6 horsepower and above for single story homes and we recommend 6.5 horsepower models for gutters up to 28 feet high
